  • Registered address: [Full address]

2. Services

We provide planning, coordination and skippered delivery/transfer of yachts, catamarans and motor boats by sea, generally for vessels up to 40 gross tons. Each service is assessed individually according to the vessel, technical condition, route, season, weather windows, port requirements and the owner’s instructions.

3. Request, quotation and contract formation

Submitting the request form does not automatically create a contract or payment obligation. After receiving a request, we may contact you for additional information, carry out a preliminary assessment and provide a written offer. A contract is formed only when both parties accept the agreed scope, price, route, timing and any special conditions in writing.

4. Prices, taxes and additional costs

Unless stated otherwise in a written offer, prices are estimates and may depend on crew time, travel, fuel, marina/port fees, canal fees, documentation, weather delays, technical repairs or other third-party costs. Before a consumer is bound by a paid service, the total price or the method for calculating it, including taxes and foreseeable additional charges, will be communicated clearly.

5. Consumer cancellation and withdrawal information

If you are an EU consumer and a distance contract is concluded, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal unless an exception applies. For services, this right may be lost after the service has been fully performed if you gave prior express consent for performance to begin during the withdrawal period and acknowledged that the right would be lost after full performance. Bespoke services tied to a specific vessel, route, date, port logistics or urgent operational arrangements may also be subject to legal exceptions or agreed cancellation fees where permitted by law.

To withdraw, contact us by email using a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the contract. If work has already started at your request, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services performed before withdrawal, where applicable under consumer law.

6. Customer responsibilities

The customer must provide accurate information about the vessel, ownership/authority, insurance, registration, equipment, known defects, route constraints and contact details. The vessel must be seaworthy and legally ready for the intended passage unless a different written arrangement is agreed.

7. Safety, weather and changes

Safety has priority over schedule. Routes, departure dates, arrival estimates or crew decisions may change due to weather, technical issues, port requirements, official instructions or other operational reasons.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Any agreed limitation of liability must be set out in the written contract and must be fair, transparent and proportionate for consumers.

9. Complaints and dispute resolution

Complaints can be sent to contact@longlegsailing.com. We will review the issue and respond within a reasonable time. EU consumers may also have access to national consumer protection bodies or alternative dispute resolution mechanisms in their country of residence.

10. Governing law

The applicable law and competent courts should be stated in the written contract. Consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law of the consumer’s habitual residence remain unaffected.
